Little White Dress

DRESS, WEDGES, TOTE, SCARF, HAT (similar)EARRINGS, RINGS: (c/o) Ann Taylor

Lately, all I want to wear when it’s hot outside are shorts – all – day – long. But what fun is that? Hence tonight’s look.

This little white dress from Ann Taylor is perfect for hot days in Palm Beach. It will make you look insta-ntly put together but requires little effort to style. It’s cut from cotton that’s double lined and feels wonderfully lightweight to wear.

Wow. It’s been a hot (literally) second. #hellosummer

I can’t believe my last outfit entry on the blog was like nearly two weeks ago. That’s unheard of for me! But between traveling, shooting (so many great looks on the way!) and casually swimming with STINGRAYS AND NURSE SHARKS (say what?), I’ve barely found time to sleep much less carve out a moment to write. So here we go.

Summer-Style

Is it hot in South Florida or what?! Sometimes, when it’s this hot outside, all I want to wear is a cotton t-shirt with cutoff shorts. But since that’s not always an option (think: lunch dates), I decided to feature this look – which, in my opinion, is a slight step up to a causal summer-style look.

Utility & Comfort

UTILITY SHIRT, EARRINGS: J.Crew/SHORTS, HAT: (c/o) Ann Taylor/SLIDES: (c/o) Shopbop/BAG: Zara – love this one!

I don’t know what it is about ease and comfort lately but I’m all about it. And no, I’m not talking about baggy sweatpants and your boyfriend’s old college t-shirt. (Although I’m definitely guilty of wearing those things on my “Netflix & Chill” nights.) I’m talking easy oversized utility shirts for the summer, comfortable linen shorts and cute slides. Items that are ultra comfortable yet incredibly stylish…

Yellow from the Tropics

WEARING – DRESS, EARRINGS, SCARF: (c/o) Ann Taylor/SANDALS: more options here/BAG: more options here

Is it me, or is every major clothing brand using yellow in their collections lately? First it was pink. Now yellow. I dig both. But lately, I’m really vibin’ with shade. Maybe it’s because it reminds me of sunshine, fresh lemonade, scrambled eggs, bumblebees, yummy mustard, flowers… or maybe it’s because it stands out? Regardless, the color yellow tends to be bright and bold. So I’m all in.

Case in point, today’s look from Ann Taylor.

Gimme Those Pants!

WHAT I WORE -> TOP, WIDE LEG PANTS, SANDALS, EARRINGS, BANGLES, STATEMENT RING, SILK SCARF: (c/o) Ann Taylor

Doesn’t matter if you’re going to work or struttin’ your stuff down Worth Ave., a pair of wide leg pants work for all occasions. Intimidated to try it? Don’t be. Think you’re too short? Newsflash: I’m 5’2. It’s a trend that works for every body type. But there’s a catch. Hint: It’s all about the shoe, honey.

Hello!

Let’s get to it – I adore this dress by Ann Taylor. Absolutely adore it. It’s so fresh! I love the dark blue and white gingham check and the self-tie belt that defines your waist. It’s so sophisticated and timeless! Wear it with gladiator sandals, a mini tote and a sunhat (currently love this one) or with platform sandals.
