Overall, I love them…

Three years ago, when I first started my blog, I took a vow that I would never feature overalls on The Style Bungalow. And look at me now.

I don’t know why I was so strongly opposed to wearing overalls when I used to wear jumpsuits all the time? Perhaps it was because overalls reminded me of my awkward middle school years and being teased? Or perhaps it’s because I look much younger than I actually am (we’ll save that topic for another day) and the thought of wearing overalls always felt… adolescent… to me?

Who knows?

Pretty sure a-line skirts look good on just about every type of woman. The trick is finding the right length for your body type. Since I’m petite, I like to wear them on the shorter side to elongate my legs and to appear long and lean. If you’re taller, you can totally opt for an a-line skirt that’s longer (like one that hits you mid-ankle). Either way, these skirts are the perfect shape and universally flattering on all.

With the sizzling heat of South Florida upon us, ‘tis the season to bare a bit of tummy and don a crop top. I know it can be a tad intimidating (trust me, I almost didn’t post this outfit), but it can also be very flattering if done right. The key is to wear the right proportions and highlight your best assets. Whether you’re petite or beautifully curvaceous, there’s a way it can be done. Here’s how:
